SLASH Performs National Anthem At Atlanta Thrashers Vs. Los Angeles Kings Game

October 12, 2010

Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES) performed the U.S. national anthem before tonight's hockey game between the Los Angeles Kings and the Atlanta Thrashers at the Staples Center in Southern California. Watch video footage of his appearance below.

Slash will support Ozzy Osbourne on a U.S. tour in January/February.

Slash recently said that he seriously considered trying to end his 14-year feud with Axl Rose so that Rose would sing on Slash's self-titled solo debut.

Slash recruited a number of different singers to perform on the record and said, "The thought of him crossed my mind at one point. I thought, 'Axl could sing the shit out of any of these songs.'"

So why didn't he make the call? Slash said, "I wanted to put the record out in this millennium."
