SLASH: Reunion Of Original GUNS N' ROSES For A Couple Of Shows Is A 'Good Idea'
April 14, 2007Former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash was recently asked by Brazilian MTV about a possible reunion of the original GN'R lineup.
"It's been 12 years now… 11 years… and it just doesn't seem like one of those things that any of us are really thinking about doing," Slash said. "And I'm not saying never. I would say it would be a good idea to get, just for a couple of shows, to get the original STP [STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, former band of VELVET REVOLVER singer Scott Weiland] and the original GUNS N' ROSES just to do a couple of shows for the fun of it."
MTV Brazil: Have you listened to "Chinese Democracy" [GUNS N' ROSES' long-awaited new album]?
Slash: "I haven't heard it. It hasn't come out yet."

The CD sold 11,000 copies in the United States last week alone (week ending April 9),bringing the total number of copies sold since its release to 3.54 million, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
