SLASH's 'All-Time Great Rock & Roll Riffs' Playlist Revealed

MySpace Music, the world's premier online music portal, has announced that legendary rock guitarist Slash has joined the community with the launch of a brand new profile page. Fans across the world can now become friends with Slash by visiting his official MySpace Music page at this location. The former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER guitarist has also created an "All-Time Great Rock & Roll Riffs" Playlist (full list below),which pays homage to some of the great music artists who he attributes to influencing his career. Slash joins MySpace Music's millions of artists, including AC/DC, THE ROLLING STONES, OZZY OSBOURNE and THE CURE.

"I'm finally putting up my own official MySpace page because the fans deserve to get news directly from me," said Slash. "I'll be doing my utmost to keep my page up-to-date with exclusive photos and videos, as well as the latest news and events to keep everybody in the loop of the crazy world I live in."

As a musician, artist, and iconic rock figure, Slash boasts a music catalog that spans several decades and a body of work that includes some of rock's greatest anthems. Since bursting onto the scene with GUNS N' ROSES in 1985, Slash has amassed album sales nearing an astounding 100 million copies along with seven Grammy nominations among countless other accolades, accomplishments and acknowledgements. Over the course of his illustrious career, Slash has performed and recorded with some of the most distinguished names in music, luminaries as diverse as Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, James Brown, and Ray Charles. Slash continues to evolve as an artist and pursue new creative outlets in fashion, TV, film scoring, and of course video games with the hugely successful Guitar Hero franchise, while remaining true to his love of rock n' roll. He is working on a solo project under the working title SLASH & FRIENDS, an album of special guest collaborations and working with his current band, VELVET REVOLVER.
