SLASH: Video Interview Posted Online
August 24, 2010A video interview with Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES) and the singer of his solo band, Myles Kennedy (ALTER BRIDGE),conducted on June 27, 2010 at the Glastonbury festival in Glastonbury, England can be viewed below.
Slash's all-star collaborations album, simply titled "Slash", scored the highest new entry on The Billboard 200 chart in early April, with first-week U.S. sales of around 60,000 copies. TheCD, which was released in North America on April 6 via EMI Label Services, features an all-star roster of guest musicians, including Ian Astbury, Chris Cornell, Rocco DeLuca, Fergie, Dave Grohl, Myles Kennedy, Kid Rock, Lemmy Kilmister, Adam Levine, Duff McKagan, M. Shadows of AVENGED SEVENFOLD, Ozzy Osbourne, Iggy Pop, and Andrew Stockdale of WOLFMOTHER.
As previously reported, bassist Tony Montana (GREAT WHITE) filled in for Todd Kerns as a member of Slash's touring band during the group's Asia/Australia tour.
Kerns, who also plays guitar and sings for SIN CITY SINNERS, underwent surgery on July 16 for a retinal detachment in his right eye.
Slash's Asian tour kicked off on July 29 at the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong.
