SLAVIOR — the band featuring ex-FATES WARNING/WARLORD drummer Mark Zonder, MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP guitarist Wayne Findlay, RING OF FIRE/STEVE VAI bassist Philip Bynoe and TRIBE OF GYPSIES vocalist Greg Analla — performed at this year's winter NAMM (National Association of Music Merchants) show, which was held January 17-20 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The group played acoustically on Friday and Saturday (January 18-19) in the Steinberg Technology booth.

SLAVIOR recently posted another video from its trip to Japan in August 2007. Watch the "Swept Away" clip below.

SLAVIOR's self-titled debut album was released on April 3, 2007 via Inside Out Music.

The band had originally inked a deal with Greece's Black Lotus Records, but financial turmoil eventually caused the label to fold, leaving SLAVIOR to re-evaluate matters and come to their initial choice of labels, Inside Out.

A versatile, melodic hard rock/metal act, SLAVIOR's debut album features elements familiar to Zonder's progressive metal past, but also introduces a wide array influences including reggae, hip-hop, and modern rock.
