On May 4, Aniruddh "Andrew" Bansal of Metal Assault conducted an interview with the Los Angeles-based experimental post-hardcore triumvirate PHILM — featuring drummer Dave Lombardo (SLAYER),guitarist/vocalist Gerry Nestler (CIVIL DEFIANCE),and bassist Pancho Tomaselli (WAR). Watch the chat in three parts below.

PHILM recently completed recording its three-song demo at NRG Studios in North Hollywood, California with noted U.K. producer Piers Baron, who previously worked with Lombardo and MOTÖRHEAD's Lemmy Kilmister on their cover of the BEN E. KING classic "Stand By Me" for Flip Skateboards' 2009 "Extremely Sorry" movie soundtrack. PHILM is also scheduled to release a seven-inch single through the 2010 Volcom Entertainment's Vinyl Club.
