SLAYER Frontman's Condition Is 'Improving More And More Every Day'
November 17, 2009Apparently, twenty-five cities just wasn't enough for MEGADETH and SLAYER on their upcoming "American Carnage" North American tour which kicks off on January 18 in Seattle.
The co-headliners announce today that one more date has been added to the itinerary — the bands will play Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, New York on February 12. Tickets go on sale November 28 at all Ticketmaster outlets and at Ticketmaster.com, with a pre-sale launching tomorrow. Log on to www.slayer.net for all the details.
Yesterday, SLAYER and MEGADETH announced that they will tour the U.S. together for the first time in nearly two decades, with TESTAMENT as special guest. The now-26-date trek will include the six "Canadian Carnage" dates that had been postponed earlier this month due to SLAYER vocalist/bassist Tom Araya's back problem.
According to SLAYER's manager, Rick Sales, "Tom continues to recover and is improving more and more every day, so I think by the time January 18 rolls around, he'll be ready for some carnage."
