February 17, 2006

Members of SLIPKNOT and SHADOWS FALL were featured on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" as part of mock interviews set up at the Grammy Awards. The clip is now available online. Head here, click "Correspondents" and then scroll down to "The Grammy Awards". According to Century Media Records, SHADOWS FALL also appeared on "E! News Daily" at one point during that show's broadcast.

SLIPKNOT were honored with a Grammy in the "Best Metal Performance" category in the pre-telecast ceremony at the 48th annual Grammy Awards, which were held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Feb. 8.

The Iowa-based band, who were nominated for the sixth consecutive year, won for their single "Before I Forget", from the group's third album, "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)". Other nominees in the "Best Metal Performance" category included songs by MINISTRY, MUDVAYNE, RAMMSTEIN and SHADOWS FALL — all bands that SLIPKNOT have toured with.
