SLIPKNOT, FEAR FACTORY, CHIMAIRA Featured On 'Infected' Soundtrack

Providing a thundering musical backdrop to "infect" by, Majesco Entertainment Company and developer Planet Moon Studios today announced a deal with Roadrunner Records and several top heavy metal bands, including SLIPKNOT, FEAR FACTORY, CHIMAIRA, TRIVIUM, ILL NINO, and THE AGONY SCENE to provide licensed music for the in-game soundtrack for Infected, scheduled for release on PSP (PlayStation Portable) in November.

In addition to providing tracks, all nine members of SLIPKNOT appear in-game as unlockable characters for use in either single player or multiplayer modes. 3volution Studios, co-owned by Raymond Herrera, drummer of FEAR FACTORY, will be responsible for creating all the sound F/X and recording voice-overs for Infected.

"We've compiled music from some of today's hottest metal bands to create an in-game soundtrack that perfectly amplifies the hardcore, fast-paced game play experience of Infected," said Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing for Majesco. "Players' pulses will pound as they attempt to complete intense missions while being shredded by the bone-crunching sounds of some of heavy metal's finest bands."

Licensed songs from Roadrunner Records confirmed for the Infected soundtrack include:

* "Remanufacture" - FEAR FACTORY

In addition to the licensed music from Roadrunner, driving electronica tracks round out the soundtrack, including previously unreleased songs:
