SLIPKNOT Frontman On Mental Health And How He Got Through Difficult Times

August 20, 2009

Corey Taylor from SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR talked to the U.K.'s YoungMinds charity at this year's Kerrang! Awards about his experience of mental health and how he got through some difficult times. The two-minute chat, which was taped on August 3 in London, England, can be viewed below.

Taylor's new solo project, COREY TAYLOR AND THE JUNK BEER KIDNAP BAND, performed at this year's Sonisphere festival, which was held on August 1-2, 2009 at the legendary Knebworth Park, United Kingdom.

Taylor previously described COREY TAYLOR AND THE JUNK BEER KIDNAP BAND as "the first stoner rock disco funk band — basically a cross between SABBATH, PRINCE and ZAPPA." Members of the group include Fred Missouri and Ryan Berrier of FACECAGE, Thomas Doggett of ONE NITE STAND, Nik Sorak of the DEAD WAIT and Tyson Leslie.
