SLIPKNOT: New Video Interview With SHAWN 'THE CLOWN' CRAHAN Available
May 25, 2009WatchMojo.com recently conducted an interview with SLIPKNOT percussionist Shawn "The Clown" Crahan. Watch the four-minute chat below.
Crahan rejoined SLIPKNOT on stage on May 8 at Oklahoma City's Zoo Amphitheatre after taking several days off following the death of his mother.
Speaking to Kerrang! magazine last June, Crahan revealed that he lost his father in 2005 following the release of 2004's "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)" and during the recording process for last year's "All Hope Is Gone", his mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, an incurable, degenerative form of dementia.
"It was the best recording cycle of my career on one hand, and on the other it was absolutely the worst," he said. "My mom has Alzheimer's. I pray for her to pass so she's not in this constant delirium. There's really no quality of life there. I'm my mom's guardian and it's very confusing for her and it's very, very hard."
