SLIPKNOT's 'Vol. 3' Enters U.K. Chart At No. 5
May 31, 2004SLIPKNOT's "Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)" entered the U.K. album chart at No. 5, according to Billboard magazine.
Topping the chart is AVRIL LAVIGNE with her sophomore album, "Under My Skin", which is also expected to end USHER's reign atop the U.S. charts when data are issued Wednesday.
SLIPKNOT's new album is expected to sell in excess of 300,000 copies in the U.S. in its first week of release to debut at No. 2 on next week's The Billboard 200 chart.
"Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)" is the follow-up to SLIPKNOT's "Iowa", which debuted in the U.K. album charts at No. 1 back in September 2001, beating off fierce competition from THE STROKES, BJORK and Brit boy band 5IVE.
