SLIPKNOT Singer Drops By New York's K-ROCK: Audio Available
April 13, 2004SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor dropped by K-Rock's "Furious Five" in New York City Monday (April 12) to talk about the group's forthcoming album, "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)", the incessant rumors of an impending band split, and the group's controversial video shoot for the album's first single, "Duality". As previously reported, the follow-up to 2001's "Iowa", "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)" (view cover here) is scheduled for release on May 25 through Roadrunner Records. Other songs on the 13-cut Rick Rubin-produced CD include "Pulse of the Maggots", "Vermillion", "Circle", and "The Blister Exists".
SLIPKNOT shot a video for "Duality" on March 27 in West Des Moines. The band will perform the track live on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" on Monday, May 17 at 11:35 p.m. EST.
