SLIPKNOT, TRIVIUM Interviewed In Council Bluffs; Video Available
February 27, 2009Bryan Odell, a correspondent for "The Omaha Buzz", a weekly entertainment show on WOWT in Omaha, has uploaded a video report from the January 25 SLIPKNOT/TRIVIUM concert at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The nine-minute clip, which includes interview footage with TRIVIUM's Matt Heafy and SLIPKNOT's Chris Fehn, can be viewed below.
As previously reported, a man died after SLIPKNOT's concert at the Mid-America Center.
Cory Nickels was 29 years old, according to KETV Omaha. He collapsed during the last song of the show, investigators said. His friends pulled him onto the concourse level after he went down.
Investigators also determined that he had a family history of heart problems.
Nickels was taken by rescue squad from the Mid-America Center. Paramedics performed CPR as they left the concert area.
