SLUMBER: 'Laptop Version' Of New Song Posted Online

August 7, 2009

Swedish melodic doom/death metallers SLUMBER have posted a "laptop version" of a new track called "Atoma", to be included on the band's forthcoming album, "Resonance". Check it out at this location.

Commented the group: "It pains some musicians to show their work in such a premature stage. However, the urge to share our work overshadows its bad shape and sound. This naked version of the song 'Atoma' is without the heavy atmospheres of synth, vocals and proper drums. When recorded it will spark like Titanic. Let 'Atoma' inspirire draw your mind to other places meanwhile."

SLUMBER will record "Resonance" between October 5 and November 15 at Panic Room Studios in Skara. An early 2010 release is expected.

The band's new lineup is as follows:

Ehsan Kalantarpour - Vocals, Synth
Jari Lindholm - Guitar
Siavosh Bigonah - Bass, Growl
Markus Hill - Guitar
Ted Larsson - Drums
Mikael Brunqvist - Live Third Guitarist And Percussionist

The CD will also include appearances by Ida Sundquvist, Lina Svärd and the Vinköl choir.

SLUMBER's debut album, "Fallout", was released in 2004 via Karmageddon/New Aeon Media.
