As previously reported, Jimmy Flemion of THE FROGS joined Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin on stage during the encore of the SMASHING PUMPKINS show last night (Tuesday, November 13) in Austin, Texas after it was revealed that a special guest would be performing with them. Together they played THE FROGS song "I Only Play For Money". They also covered "Taxman" by THE BEATLES.
During SMASHING PUMPKINS' "Mellon Collie" era, John Flemion would often join the band on stage for "1979" and invite fans on stage to dance.
SMASHING PUMPKINS' latest album, "Zeitgeist", has been re-released and packaged with a full-length DVD documentary titled "Inside the Zeitgeist". The disc also contains three bonus tracks, including a previously unreleased song called "Ma Belle". The other songs included are "Stellar" and "Death from Above". This special version of "Zeitgeist" features an all-new metallic silver color scheme as well.
The "Zeitgeist" re-release is sold exclusively at Best Buy stores.
