SMASHING PUMPKINS, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE Confirmed For Australia's V FESTIVAL

SMASHING PUMPKINS and QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE are among the bands that have been confirmed for next year's V Festival — a four date multi-band event that will travel to four Australian cities over the course of two weekends. The dates are as follows:

Mar. 29 - Sydney, Australia - Centennial Park
Mar. 30 - Gold Coast, Australia - Avica Resort
Apr. 05 - Melbourne, Australia - Showgrounds
Apr. 06 - Perth, Australia - The Esplanade (City)

Tickets will go on sale on Thursday, December 6.

SMASHING PUMPKINS' latest album, "Zeitgeist", has been re-released and packaged with a full-length DVD documentary titled "Inside the Zeitgeist". The disc also contains three bonus tracks, including a previously unreleased song called "Ma Belle". The other songs included are "Stellar" and "Death from Above". This special version of "Zeitgeist" features an all-new metallic silver color scheme as well.

The "Zeitgeist" re-release is sold exclusively at Best Buy stores.
