SO HIDEOUS Signs With PROSTHETIC RECORDS

February 26, 2014

Prosthetic Records has announced the signing of the acclaimed, genre-defying Brooklyn quartet SO HIDEOUS. The band's full-length debut, "Last Poem / First Light", will be released on April 29 on CD, cassette and 180-gram black vinyl. The CD was recorded at The Wild Arctic Studios in Portsmouth, New Hampshire with Dean Baltulonis (LUCERO, MODERN LIFE IS WAR) and was mastered by Scott Hull (BOB DYLAN, GARBAGE) at MasterDisk. The albeffortum, which the band has stated takes influence from 20th-Century classical composers Phillip Glass and Arvo Part, also features support from the New York-based choral and instrumental ensemble The First Light Orchestra.

The album track "My Light" can be streamed using the widget below.
