SOCIETY 1 Singer MATT 'THE LORD' ZANE To Act As Minister

July 18, 2006

Longtime SOCIETY 1 fans Andrew Goodyear and Amanda Tyler will exchange wedding vows at a ceremony with SOCIETY 1's frontman, Matt "The Lord" Zane, presiding over the ritual. The ceremony will take place in Oklahoma City on August 5, 2006. It will be in full SOCIETY 1 fashion, with Matt as the minister, Sin as a groomsman and Dirt as an usher.

Tyler stated, "When Andy proposed to me, the first name that popped into my head in terms of a minister was Matt. He's been a huge fixture in my life for quite a few years now." She added, "In my mind, there wasn't another choice for any of these positions and I think without them, our wedding wouldn't be near as special."

SOCIETY 1's first release for Crash Music, Inc. will be "The Years of Spiritual Dissent", a two-disc CD/DVD set, to be released July 25. "The Years of Spiritual Dissent" contains SOCIETY 1's first two albums — "Slacker Jesus" and "Words as Carriers" — along with two cover songs, a brand new track entitled "This Is the End", and a documentary bonus DVD.
