SOIL: New Album Title Revealed

June 22, 2009

Chicago, Illinois-based heavy rock band SOIL has set "Picture Perfect" as the title of its new album, tentatively due in September in Europe via Germany's AFM Records and in North America through Driven Music Group — the Phoenix, Arizona-based music label and entertainment company created by former KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch. The CD is being recorded at Groovemaster Recording Studios in Chicago with Grammy-nominated producer Johnny K (DISTURBED, 3 DOORS DOWN, STAIND, FINGER ELEVEN). Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Like It Is", "Temptation", "Surrounded", and "Picture Perfect".

SOIL was interviewed live on the May 17, 2009 edition of the "Uncensored Net Noise" show from the Cocaine Energy Supplement studio in Lakewood, Ohio. You can now watch the program below.

SOIL's last CD, "True Self", was released in May 2006 via DRT Entertainment. The follow-up to 2004's "Redefine" was recorded and mixed at Bomb Shelter studios in Los Angeles, California with producer Ulrich Wild (STATIC-X, TAPROOT).
