SOIL: New Audio Interview With A.J. CAVALIER Available
November 10, 2008A new audio interview with vocalist A.J. Cavalier of the Chicago, Illinois-based heavy rock band SOIL is available for streaming at MetalMonthly.com.
SOIL recently inked a deal with Driven Music Group — the Phoenix, Arizona-based music label and entertainment company created by Brian "Head" Welch, a founding member, songwriter and guitarist from the multi-platinum rock band KORN — for the release of its next studio album, tentatively due in early 2009.
Fan-filmed video footage of SOIL performing a new song called "Like It Is" on July 2, 2008 at the Trocadero in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania can be viewed below (clip uploaded by YouTube user "energizerbunny82").
SOIL's latest CD, "True Self", was released in May 2006 via DRT Entertainment. The follow-up to 2004's "Redefine" was recorded and mixed at Bomb Shelter studios in Los Angeles, California with producer Ulrich Wild (STATIC-X, TAPROOT).
