The Metal Foundry SDX celebrates the Toontrack Music Hard Rock and Heavy Metal legacy of the first Drumkit From Hell, on which the company has built its following.
Born in Wilrijk, Belgium, Dirk Verbeuren moved to France and later enrolled in a drum course at the Music Academy International (MAI). Since completing his training, Dirk has gone on to create music with a great many successful bands and musicians. He is currently a full time member of SOILWORK and will be entering the studio this winter for their upcoming 2010 release. Dirk recently recorded an EP with ABORTED, completed a drum clinic tour through Europe and is already scheduling more clinics for this winter.
