SOILWORK To Embark On 'Longer' European Tour In March

September 17, 2005

SOILWORK vocalist Björn "Speed" Strid has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"First of all, I want to say I'm sorry that the tour in Europe is pretty short this time around. There's not much we can do about this since there are many tours running through Europe at the same time. Trust me: WE WILL NEVER FORGET ABOUT EUROPE!! This where we started touring and started to get a name so we have a very special relation with Europe. I'm aware that there's a couple of countries missing in this schedule that we usually tour in. I apologize for this, but trust me you'll get your share. I swear on my mother's kitchentable that we'll make it up for you! This will happen in a near future. To tell you a bit more than I should, it really looks like we're coming back in March for a longer tour. We'll make sure that we'll do every fucking festival worth mentioning next summer as well, more Europe to come!"

SOILWORK are continuing to tour in support of their latest CD, "Stabbing the Drama", available now on Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Figure Number Five" was recorded at Fascination Street studios in Örebro and Dug-Out Productions in Uppsala, Sweden with producer Daniel Bergstrand (MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES, STUCK MOJO).
