SOILWORK To Tour North America With UNEARTH, WOVENWAR, BATTLECROSS, DARKNESS DIVIDED

Swedish metallers SOILWORK will embark on the second North American "Fury Tour" in October. Support on the 26-date trek, which launches October 14 in Providence, Rhode Island, will come from UNEARTH, WOVENWAR, BATTLECROSS and DARKNESS DIVIDED.

"We are very excited to announce our first North American headline run in a while, together with old friends in UNEARTH and WOVENWAR," SOILWORK vocalist Björn "Speed" Strid told Billboard.com. "We are also bringing BATTLECROSS and DARKNESS DIVIDED, two awesome bands that we are looking forward to get to know a bit better!

"We have already done two direct support tours in North America for our latest album with SOULFLY and FEAR FACTORY, where we gained a lot of new fans. Now it's time to bring the 'Ride Majestic' world tour to North America via the 'Fury Tour' in full force with a headline set, featuring songs from our 20-year-long career. It's going to be magical, ladies 'n' gents. Don't miss out!"

SOILWORK's tenth studio album, "The Ride Majestic", was released worldwide on August 28, 2015 via Nuclear Blast.

Drummer Dirk Verbeuren recently left SOILWORK to join MEGADETH as a permanent member. He has since been replaced in SOILWORK by Bastian Thusgaard of THE ARCANE ORDER.
