SOILWORK: Tour Report

October 28, 2006

Swedish metallers SOILWORK, who are currently touring North America with DARKEST HOUR, MNEMIC and THREAT SIGNAL, have posted the following message on their official web site:

"Here's another update from the road! Everything's been killer so far, it's a great feeling to meet up with all you U.S. SOILWORK fans again... and truly amazing to meet some of you who travelled from abroad to come and see us play live!! The setlist seems to be going down really well; we're glad you're loving the oldies we've exhumed especially for your aural ecstacy! There have been some crazy partying nights as well, the most recent one being yesterday night on our off day in Pensacola Beach, FL where some severely inebriated bandmembers (who shall remain nameless, right David and Ola?) ended up jamming with a local band in a packed bar... Good times!! With 20 shows done so far and 15 more to go, we're now a little over halfway of this 'Last Stab'. So make sure to catch us before we retire into the Swedish wastelands again to record some new kick-ass tunes!!"

SOILWORK's latest CD, "Stabbing the Drama", is available now on Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Figure Number Five" was recorded at Fascination Street studios in Örebro and Dug-Out Productions in Uppsala, Sweden with producer Daniel Bergstrand (MESHUGGAH, IN FLAMES, STUCK MOJO).
