SOLUTION 13 Schedule First Show With New Singer

May 14, 2005

SOLUTION 13, the Finnish band featuring SENTENCED bassist Sami Kukkohovi and POISONBLACK drummer Tarmo Kanerva, will play their first gig with new vocalist Risto Stenroos (ex-HUMAN) on May 28 at Hevimesta in Oulu, Finland. Headlining the show will be CHARON.

Risto Stenroos joined SOLUTION 13 late last year as the replacement for Ilkka Järvenpää, who left the group in early 2004.

SOLUTION 13 recently spent time at Mastervox Studios recording their sophomore album, tentatively due later in the year.

SOLUTION 13's self-titled debut was released in late 2002 through Low Frequency Records. Recorded at Oulu's Neo-studio with producer Kari Vähäkuopus, "Solution 13" was described in an official press release as "hard hitting, kick-in-the-nuts metal…that [is] bound to make you bang your head."
