SONATA ARCTICA: UK Version Of 'The Collection 1999-2006' To Include Bonus DVD

Following their sold-out headline appearance at London's Electric Ballroom in November 2007, Finnish melodic metallers SONATA ARCTICA (led by highly respected frontman/vocalist Tony Kakko) have confirmed a run of dates for April, taking in both Ireland and the UK.

In support of this series of shows, Spinefarm Records UK will release a "best-of" album on April 21; titled "The Collection 1999-2006", it features tracks from the first 10 years of the band's career. This 17-track compilation includes new versions of the SONATA staples "Replica" and "My Land" (both of which originally appeared on the group's 1999 debut, "Ecliptica"),and will be available for a limited time with a bonus DVD comprising live, acoustic and cover material, as well as promo clips and rare live footage.

"The Collection 1999-2006" was released in Finland in November 2006 via Spinefarm.
