SOTHIS: 'Sinister Nation' Video Posted Online

June 14, 2007

Los Angeles-based black metallers SOTHIS have posted the video for their track "Sinister Nation" on YouTube.

In a May 2007 posting on the SOTHIS MySpace page, the band wrote, "We have completed nine new originals, most of which will appear on the debut album. We will begin preproduction recordings within the next two weeks. Once the pre-production recordings are finished, we will enter the studio to begin tracking the album. We are hoping to secure a label to license the record and get it on shelves this fall or winter. The release of album is, of course, subject to the label's release schedule so we will continue to update projected release dates as things become confirmed."

On the topic of their bassist situation and upcoming live shows, the group wrote, "We have yet to find anyone to fill our vacant bass position. Although we will not begin training anyone for that position until we are in the final stages of the debut album's production, any interested parties should make inquiries via e-mail to [email protected].

"We will NOT be doing any live shows until the new album is complete. That means there will be NO shows until August at the earliest. We are working on several exciting new things for our live shows and are looking forward to getting back on stage as soon as possible. It is of course our hope to be able to tour as extensively as possible once the new album is released so hopefully we'll make it to a town near you."
