SOUL EMBRACED Announces New Guitarist

Little Rock, Arkansas-based metallers SOUL EMBRACED have announced the addition of guitarist Ed Collins to the group's ranks. The band states, "Ed is an amazing guitarist and we have begun collaborating on a ton of new songs for the new SOUL EMBRACED record. Ed has helped give us the new and improved sound we've been looking for and we can't wait for you to hear what we're working on."

Guitarist Devin Castle left SOUL EMBRACED in June in order to concentrate on his other projects ALTUS POCKET and THE VAIL.

SOUL EMBRACED's first studio album since 2003, "Dead Alive", was released on April 29, 2008 through Solid State Records. The CD was produced by Barry Poynter (LIVING SACRIFICE, ZAO) and was mixed by HATE ETERNAL/former MORBID ANGEL guitarist Erik Rutan (CANNIBAL CORPSE, SIX FEET UNDER, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD).

The band released an EP (1999's "The Fleshless" EP),and three albums (2000's "For The Incomplete", 2002's "This Is My Blood", and 2003's "Immune") over a five-year span.

SOUL EMBRACED's debut album, "For the Incomplete", was re-released in 2003 by the independent label Blood and Ink Records.
