SOUL SIRKUS: Concert Plans Postponed Until 2005
August 7, 2004SOUL SIRKUS, the new "supergroup" formed by singer Jeff Scott Soto (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, TALISMAN, AXEL RUDI PELL, TAKARA, HUMAN CLAY),guitarist Neal Schon and drummer Deen Castronovo (both of JOURNEY) and bassist Marco Mendoza (THIN LIZZY, WHITESNAKE, TED NUGENT),have abandoned previously announced plans to make their live debut before the end of the year. "The latest word is with the extension of the current JOURNEY tour and plans to begin recording a new album as well as Jeff's solo world tour, there seems to be little time left in the year for the attentive West Coast dates recently discussed," reads a posting on the band's web site. "No more speculative, only confirmed, info will be placed from now on. The earliest there will be room to begin the SOUL SIRKUS invasion will be beginning of 2005.
