SOULDRAINER Comments On Singer's Departure

June 16, 2007

Östersund, Sweden-based death metallers SOULDRAINER have issued the following statement regarding the recent departure of vocalist Johan Klitkou:

"SOULDRAINER wishes Johan the best of luck in his future life. It’s been a long journey but sometimes the road splits and people walk in different directions. This means that SOULDRAINER can look forward to an exciting new era in the band's history. It will be fun and interesting to inject some new blood into the veins of SOULDRAINER, and see where this might lead us musically and personally."

SOULDRAINER released its debut album, "Reborn", on May 18 via Holland's Holland's Mascot Records. The CD was recorded by SOULDRAINER and Marcus Edvardsson at Manic Motion Studio and was mixed and mastered by Marcus Edvardsson. The layout and artwork was handled by Daniel Dlimi. The title track, "Reborn", is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page.
