SOULFLY Announce Album Title, Seek Out Mixer For Third CD

February 12, 2002

SOULFLY have reportedly set Soulfly III: Enterfaith as the title to their forthcoming third full-length CD, which is tentatively due to be issued on May 20th in Europe and May 21st in the US via Roadrunner Records. The upcoming CD—which will include an appearance by mainman Max Cavalera's stepson Richie on the last track composed for the album (as yet untitled)—was recently produced by Max and engineered by Otto D'Agnolo at Phoenix's (Brill Street) Chaton Studios, where the group had previously recorded their cover of BLACK SABBATH's "Under The Sun" for the Nativity In Black II tribute CD. At this time, no decision has yet been made with regards to the identity of the person that will mix the album, leading to speculation that the release date may get pushed back into the early summer at the earliest.

Among the known song titles that are set to appear on Soulfly III: Enterfaith are the following:

01. Downstroy
02. Enterfaith
03. Seek 'N' Strike
04. Last of The Mohicans
05. Brazil
06. Soulfly III
07. Sangue De Bairro (CHICO SCIENCE cover)

As previously reported, SOULFLY have recorded several B-sides during the sessions, including covers of PAILHEAD's "I Will Refuse" and SACRED REICH's "One Nation" (featuring guest appearances by original SACRED REICH drummer Greg Hall and guitarist Wiley Arnett).
