SOULFLY Guitarist Issues Video Message

March 28, 2007

SOULFLY guitarist Marc Rizzo has issued a video message for all of the group's fans overseas awaiting the scheduled SOULFLY shows and anyone who has supported him in his solo career. View the message at YouTube.

Rizzo is putting the finishing touches on the follow-up to his 2005 solo album, "Colossal Myopia". A late 2007 release is expected.

Marc Rizzo solo dates:

April 07 - New Wave Cafe - New Bedford, Massachusetts
April 13 - Underscore aka Bar East - New York, New York
April 14 - Mexicali Blues - Teaneck, New Jersey
May 05 - The Arena - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

In other news, SOULFLY bassist Bobby Burns and Tim Lau have opened their own professional production studio in a quiet area of Orlando, FL — the home to Bobby's Family For Life Records and Lau's Laud Productions. The Porch Studio is able to provide experienced production and engineering and last week the first final mixes from the studio hit the streets. Burns and Lau are always interested in working with new bands, so if you're legitimately interested in recording with Tim and Bobby in Florida, go to ThePorchStudio.com.

SOULFLY was scheduled to enter a Los Angeles studio at the end of March to record a cover of the MARILYN MANSON song "Beautiful People" for an upcoming Kerrang! magazine compilation. The band will also play several dates in South America in April.
