December 10, 2007SOULFLY guitarist Marc Rizzo will guest on the "Maximum Threshold" show on Saturday, December 15.
"Maximum Threshold" is an Internet radio show dedicated to presenting up-and-coming hard rock bands and successful bands as well as interviews, news and music reviews.

Rizzo's latest solo album, "The Ultimate Devotion", was released on July 31 through Shrapnel Records in the U.S. and Mascot Records throughout Europe.
SOULFLY members Max Cavalera (guitar/vocals),Joe Nunez (drums),Marc Rizzo (guitar),and Bobby Burns (bass) entered Porch Studio in Florida on September 12 to begin recording the band's sixth studio album for an early summer 2008 release via Roadrunner Records.
After recording up until the end of September, the band was able to complete nearly all of the basic tracking for the recording — including the majority of drum, bass, rhythm guitar, and lead guitar tracks. Working titles for some of the 13 songs which were tracked include "Burndown", "Enemy Ghost", "Axis of Wrath", and "Blood, Fire, War, Hate".
For the time being, SOULFLY has put recording at the Porch with engineer Tim Lau on hold; ever since they left the studio on September 29, Max has been traveling throughout Egypt and Siberia with recording devices, and when he returns he will begin to mold the samples, noises, and music that he collects during his travels into the framework of the songs which he jammed out with Marc, Bobby, and Joe last month. Vocals and percussion have only been completed on a handful of songs, but SOULFLY plans to go back to the Porch before the end of the year to complete tracking. After that, Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, EXODUS, ARCH ENEMY, MACHINE HEAD) will be doing the mixing on this one. As of now, you can expect the next album to be ready for release by early summer of 2008.
SOULFLY's upcoming CD will feature a guest appearance by MORBID ANGEL frontman David Vincent.
