SOULFLY To Team Up With CITY OF FIRE For Australian Tour
June 22, 2010SOULFLY will team up with CITY OF FIRE, the band featuring FEAR FACTORY vocalist Burton C. Bell and bassist Byron Stroud, for an Australian tour in September. Support on the trek will come from INCITE, the Phoenix, Arizona-based band fronted by SOULFLY/CAVALERA CONSPIRACY mainman Max Cavalera's stepson Richie Cavalera.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, July 1 at 9 a.m.
SOULFLY's new album, "Omen", sold 6,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 73 on The Billboard 200 chart.
SOULFLY's last album, "Conquer", opened with 8,400 units back in August 2008 to land at position No. 66 on The Billboard 200 chart. This number was in line with the opening tally of the CD's predecessor, "Dark Ages", which shifted a little more than 8,000 copies during its first week of release in October 2005 to enter the chart at No. 155.
CITY OF FIRE will release its self-titled debut album on August 24 via Candlelight Records. The CD, recorded at renowned Factory Studios in Vancouver in late 2008 with additional material completed in April of this year, features Bell and Stroud with guitarist Terry Murray, drummer Bob Wagner (ECONOLINE CRUSH),and guitarist Ian White. The album features fourteen songs, including remakes of THE CULT's "Rain" and T-REX's "Children of the Revolution". It will also include the band's video for the song "Rising".
