The 12th annual D-Low Memorial show — the yearly Arizona-based festival held in memory of SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera's stepson, Dana Wells (article) — which was originally slated to take place on August 7, 2008 has been rescheduled for November 29 at The Marquee Theatre in Tempe, Arizona. Bands that are confirmed to perform at the event include SOULFLY, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, SACRED REICH and two acts to be announced at a later date. Ticket stubs from the August 7 show will be honored on the new date. If you are unable to attend the show in November, please bring your ticket stub(s) back to the Marquee Theatre box office to receive your refund.

Austria's Mulatschag.TV has posted a seven-minute video interview (see below) with guitarist/vocalist Max Cavalera of SOULFLY and CAVALERA CONSPIRACY. Max talks about his family, especially about his brother Igor, his ESP Viper, and why he always plays with four strings.

SOULFLY's new album, "Conquer", registered the following first-week chart positions around the world:

Germany: #15
Austria: #16
Australia: #19
Finland: #20
Netherlands: #33
USA: #66
UK (Rock Albums): #7

"Conquer" sold around 8,400 copies in the Unted States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. This number is in line with the opening tally of the CD's predecessor, "Dark Ages", which shifted a little more than 8,000 copies during its first week of release in October 2005 to enter the chart at No. 155.

SOULFLY's new video, "Unleash", was directed by Robert Sexton, who has previously worked with MONDO GENERATOR, AMEN and ICED EARTH, among many others. The song is the first single from "Conquer".
