SOULJOURNERS Covers BLACK SABBATH's 'Heaven And Hell'; Audio Stream

November 8, 2010

A Southern California progressive metal band SOULJOURNERS' cover version of the BLACK SABBATH classic "Heaven And Hell" — recorded as a tribute to the legendary SABBATH singer Ronnie James Dio — can be streamed in the YouTube clip below.

Known for intense stage presence and musicianship, SOULJOURNERS has been tearing California open with its "unique blend of virtuoso elements and catchy hooks," according to the group's official bio. The band consists of Michael Couts on guitar and vocals, Scoops (David Brockenborough) on bass, Paul Ellingson keyboards and Paul Zimmer on drums.

SOULJOURNERS has two independent U.S. tours under its belt, supporting the band's debut album, "Mind Control". The CD, which was produced by Frank Gryner and Karen Stever, features a guest appearance by DEF LEPPARD guitarist Phil Collen on the song "Crazy Times".
