SOUNDSCAN REPORT: VAN HALEN, STATIC-X, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN
July 28, 2004VAN HALEN's two-CD retrospective, "The Best Of Both Worlds", has sold 138,284 copies in the U.S. during its first week of release to debut at position No. 2 on next week's The Billboard 200 chart. Meanwhile, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN have shifted an impressive 11,264 copies of their new album, "Miss Machine", to land at No. 106. STATIC-X's collection of remixes and rarities, "Beneath, Between, Beyond", registered a first-week tally of 9,142, according to Nielsen SoundScan, to enter The Billboard 200 chart at No. 139.
