SPAWN OF POSSESSION Begin Recording New Album

Swedish technical death metal outfit SPAWN OF POSSESSION have entered Pama Studios in Kristianopel, Sweden with with producer Magnus Sedenberg to begin recording their sophomore album, "Noctambulant", for an April/May release via Neurotic Records. "All drums and one guitar are tracked and the pre-mix result of this already sounds astonishing," the band write on their web site. "Second guitars are being put on tape as we speak and bass and vocals will follow after. The album is set to be mixed at the end of February, and a release date will be set after mastering." Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Lash by Lash", "Render my Prey" and "Eve of Contempt". The artwork will be created by Pär Olofsson (PSYCROPTIC). SPAWN OF POSSESSION's debut album, "Cabinet", was released in 2003.
