SPEEDEALER Announce Release Date For NEWSTED-Produced CD

Texas aggro rockers SPEEDEALER will issue their fourth album, entitled Second Sight, on May 14th through Palm Pictures, a division of Island Records. Produced by Jason Newsted of METALLICA fame, Second Sight was recorded during September/October at The Plant in Sausalito, California with Kent Matcke (i.e. STABBING WESTWARD) engineering. SPEEDEALER reportedly recorded 17 songs, 12 of which will appear on the US release, while two others have been set aside as bonus tracks for the Japanese and Australian releases. It is not yet clear where the remaining three tracks will end up. SPEEDEALER are presently on tour with LENNON.
