SQUEALER A.D. Announces New Singer
August 10, 2007Germany's SQUEALER A.D. has recruited former MIND-ASHES frontman Norbert Vornam as the replacement for the recently departed Gus Chambers. In addition, the band has apparently reverted to its original moniker, SQUEALER.
Locomotive issued SQUEALER A.D.'s latest album, "Confrontation Street", in North America on May 22.
Released in Europe last October via AFM Records, "Confrontation Street" is "the hardest album in the band's history," according to a press release — a directional shift which was planned even before the passing of former former SQUEALER singer Andy "Henner" Allendörfer, who died in a car accident in 2005. Chambers and new drummer Martin Buchwalter (drums) "did an amazing job in the studio and brought lots of ideas and energy to the new material."
