SSS Track Used In New Commercial For Pro Skater GEOFF ROWLEY

November 8, 2007

The track "Son of Beast" taken from the Merseyside crossover-thrashers SSS' latest release "Short Sharp Shock" is featured in a Geoff Rowley skate commercial for Independent trucks.

Speaking about the commercial, SSS frontman Foxy has stated: "Geoff is a major force to be reckoned with as a sk8er. Independent trucks are the backbone of skateboarding, and SSS is unstoppable. SSS is stoked to be a part of Geoff's ad — RIDE THE BEST AND FUCK THE REST".

With SSS being deeply rooted in the Liverpool skateboarding scene, Foxy reveals that the band have a long-standing friendship with the skater. He explains that they used to "travel to new spots all over the country and skate the rough cold streets of Liverpool at a time when sk8ing was on its arse, dead and truely underground. Music and sk8ing fuelled us and will be forever indebted to each other. Don't fuck with Geoff or SSS, you will always bite off more than you can chew."

You can view the full commercial at this location.

"Short Sharp Shock" is out now worldwide. Watch a live performance of the track "The Beast" below.
