STAIND: New Single Due In June

April 15, 2005

The first single from the new album by STAIND will tentatively begin showing up at rock radio stations the first week of June, according to Launch Radio Networks. Although the title of the track has yet to be announced, a song called "Right Here" has been rumored as a possible candidate. The new STAIND record, titled "Chapter V", may follow in July.

The album's release will reportedly wait until after singer Aaron Lewis's wife gives birth to their new baby, which is due in May. Tour plans are also contingent on the time of the baby's arrival.

Guitarist Mike Mushok recently told Launch that "Chapter V" is STAIND's most varied offering yet. "I think the songs are way more diverse than anything we've done," he said. "There's stuff that's a lot heavier than the last record, and there's stuff that's a lot lighter too. I mean, we really kind of tried to get as diverse as possible."
