STAIND's MIKE MUSHOK On New Album: 'It's A Pretty Diverse Batch Of Tunes'

October 30, 2002

STAIND guitarist/songwriter Mike Mushok told fans in an online audio message that "most of the music is done and [frontman] Aaron [Lewis] has sung about half-a-dozen songs so far" for the band's next CD. "The songwriting process has definitely evolved again … It's a pretty diverse batch of tunes." STAIND is eyeing a spring 2003 release for the album.

In other news, STAIND's 1996 release, "Tormented", is being reissued in time for the holidays. The CD was reissued earlier this year for sales online only at the StaindDirect store, but those have sold out. There's no word as to the exact date when the next wave of "Tormented" will be in stores or available online.
