STAM1NA, TIMO KOTIPELTO, LEVERAGE, MEDICATED Confirmed For Finnish Charity Tour

STAM1NA, Timo Rautiainen, Timo Kotipelto (STRATOVARIUS),LEVERAGE and MEDICATED will take part in a short Finnish tour called "Kaveria ei jätetä" (translation: "Never leave a friend behind!") which collects money to help the voluntary youth mental healthcare in Finland.

The dates are as follows:

Jan. 02 - Pakkahuone, Tampere, FIN
Jan. 03 - Gloria, Helsinki, FIN

STAM1NA topped the Finnish album chart with its third effort, "Raja", which came out in February 2008 through Sakara Records. The CD was recorded at Purple Fly studio in the band's hometown. Production duties were handled by Janne Joutsenniemi, whose legendary band STONE was one of the STAM1NA's biggest influences. Miitri Aaltonen, who produced the first two STAM1NA albums, mixed the new CD.

STAM1NA was formed in 1996 and released two previous albums — "Stam1na" (2005) and "Uudet Kymmenen Käskyä" (2006),which landed at No. 3 on the Finnish album chart and received the 2006 Emma award for "Best Metal Album".
