STARGAZER, which features members of MOURNFUL CONGREGATION, CAULDRON and BLACK RAM, has established itself as one of the most unique death metal bands in Australia (musically and lyrically). Through a series of demos, EPs, splits and compilations (surrounding the group's "Scream That Tore The Sky" debut),STARGAZER has created an "intimidating breed of avant-death metal which comes across as chaotic mix of classic '80s thrash ala CORONER and VOIVOD blended with the aesthetic power of MORBID ANGEL, the blackthrash virulence of ABSU . . . and the more progressive edge of death metal reminiscent of PESTILENCE ('Testimony Of The Ancients' era),ATHEIST, SADUS, and CYNIC," according to a press release.

STARGAZER is:

The Serpent Inquisitor - guitar/vocals/verse
The Great Righteous Destroyer - fretless bass/vocals
