STARWOOD Begin Recording New Album
November 26, 2005Los Angeles-based rock outfit STARWOOD, featuring members of the Eighties heavy metal band LIZZY BORDEN, are scheduled to enter the studio today (November 26) to start recording their sophomore album, tentatively due in early 2006 via Metal Blade Records. "We've worked really hard on trying to make this a very dynamic record, very different then the last one," writes the group's frontman Lizzy (a.k.a. Lizzy Borden). "The songs are a little more multi-dimensional. We had damn near twenty-five songs to choose from, [and] it was very hard to narrow it down. In the end, we went with the songs that worked together as a whole. We're trying to record this record as quickly as possible mainly because we all can't wait to hear what we've been working on for the last month in pre-production."
STARWOOD's debut album, "If It Ain't Broke, Break It!", was released in July 2004 through Metal Blade Records.
