STEEL PROPHET Complete 'Leatherette' Video

April 20, 2004

STEEL PROPHET guitarist Steve Kachinsky has issued the following update on the recording sessions for the group's new album, entitled "Beware":

"We finished the video for 'Leatherette' Wednesday. It was directed by David Bellino, and he did a great job for us. Major thanks to him and Kevin Cafferty for setting up all the gear, etc. at Plus 8 Video for us. It was shot on a HDTV camera and is super close to film. I doubt a lot of people could tell the difference. We had a great group of extras come out, without giving away the story line, which I actually know nothing about anyway, there are some weird characters, belly dancers, etc. One of the three 'Leatherettes' who turned out was also in a couple PRIEST and CRÜE videos back in the day, and she's still looking good.

"The album is coming along and has keyboards for a couple songs and lead vocals on five songs. Hope to be finished with those vocals in a few more days and on to mixing this beast!"
