STEELHEART: New Song Posted Online

October 27, 2006

A new STEELHEART track, entitled "LOL. (Laughing Out Loud)", has been posted online at the band's MySpace page.

STEELHEART has made a three-song EP, entitled "Just a Taste", available via its SteelHeart Store. The tracks, which are being described as "a futuristic LED ZEPPELIN," will be included on STEELHEART's upcoming album, which will be released early next year.

"Just a Taste" EP track listing:

01. Buried Unkind
02. Twisted Future
03. LOL. (Laughing Out Loud)

STEELHEART frontman Miljenko Matijevic on Oct. 17 announced the lineup of musicians that will accompany him on the band's upcoming tour in November. "On lead guitar we have Chris Risola," he wrote. "We all know Chris from the first two albums, a crazy rock'n talented guitar player who has been on hiatus for the last ten years hiding in Florida with beautiful women. I think it s safe to say there is a little fire built up in that soul. On rhythm/lead joining me will be T-Bone Andersson — Swedish Viking guitar virtuoso who currently resides in Los Angeles, a tasteful yet dirty string bender. On drums we have Mike Humbert. Mike is an outstanding drummer from Pennsylvania. I met Mike two years ago when I started recording the demos for this album. I have never seen anyone hit the drums as hard yet with such precision as this guy. Last but not least we have world-renowned bass player Myron Dove. Myron shared the stage with SANTAN for 12 years and now he will be laying some nasty groves with us. And of course on vocals we got this guy from Zagreb, Croatia. Now let's fuck'n jam."

Also coming in November is the long-awaited STEELHEART DVD, featuring three hours of live concert footage, interviews, a "unplugged" session in Hong Kong, bootleg material, all the STEELHEART videos and more.
