STEELHEART Vocalist Says He Is Ready To Sing From The Bottom Of His Soul

July 29, 2004

STEELHEART frontman Mike Matijevic has issued the following statement regarding his recent activities:

"Dear friends,

"I would like to apologize for my absence. Due to another death in my family, once again my life was taken off course. I am sad to say on September 30, 2003 my father, Mirko Matijevic, passed away at the age of 63. His death had great impact on my life and my future to come. Besides the trauma of reliving another death in the family, I also endured the responsibility to administer my father's estate. This journey consumed all of my time and energy. I am now at the end of this journey and I can honestly say that all my attention and focus is to put a band together and sing from the bottom of my soul. I would also like to let it be known that I am changing my name back to my birthright name 'Miljenko Matijevic', the short of that is Mili.

Please visit Steelheart.com and register on the message board. I will be checking the board periodically and I will try to answer any questions you may have.

"I appreciate your patience and your understanding. I love you all.

"Stay in tune, there's a lot to come."
